Everything changed on a dime.It’s thick and sturdy.You can work on creations and easily lift them up afterwards. There’s even a “fuse and join” area.This mat instantly breathed new life into our 3D creations hobby!No odor at all.

Introducing my kids to the world of 3D printing and got this mat as a surface for them to work on. The built in stencil is very useful for helping to create basic geometric shapes as building blocks for bigger models as well as complete shapes for things like mini ornaments and Christmas tree. The mat is a nice thick silicone sheet so is quite durable and easily folded or rolled up when not in use.

Mainly because I wasn’t sure where I could use it. Then I saw this. I figured that would be perfect to protect my working surface.The pad comes folded in half making it a 12”x12” square. For me, this is the ideal arrangement as my space that I will be using it is limited. I don’t really need the animals side, but the angle/circle/square and build side is perfect for me. The pad is silicone so it will protect my working table from the heat.

One of the problems with a 3D pen is design control. Lines aren’t straight, freehand designs are far from useful. This mat addresses the issues and should be included with every 3D pen.The mat is divided into sections. Lines, curves, cartoons and assembly. The grooves help you draw out your lines. The assembly area gives you a place to “weld” your lines into an object. I haven’t used the cartoon area simply because it isn’t how I use my pens but between the lines, curves and assembly area this mat is a must have.The brand of my pens (I have a few pens) also sells a little 8 inch square mat but this is more functional and I like this one better. Just having the larger work area allows me to be more productive as I can draw my lines in one section and assemble in another, all on the same mat. If I need a line or curve that I haven’t already made, I can simply draw it out without needing to move the assembly.This is a really nice mat to have as part of your 3D pen kit and if the pen belongs to a kid, the ability to draw 3D characters that look like something is a nice bonus.

Bought for my niece and she absolutely loves it!!! Makes a perfect gift for any age group. Don’t forget to also purchase the 3d pen. It will work with any 3d pen. The artwork came out beautifully

I love how big this mat it. The grooves make it really easy to use. The kids are having a lot of fun. The mat is a lot bigger than the one that comes with the 3D Pen. The rubbery mat is very well built.
