If you liked the The Housemaid, this 2nd book, is absolutely amazing with more plot twists. Its perfect! There are some areas that is predictable but it does it justice. I could not put it down.

Sometimes I’m hesitant to read series because I find that after reading the first book, the following book/s in the series don’t meet expectations set forth by the first. However, this book didn’t disappoint. I look forward to reading the third book in the series.

The first book, “The Housemaid”, is one of my favorite books I’ve ever read. I was hoping this sequel wouldn’t be a rehash of the first, and it was not. Sure it has its similarities, but it’s a new story with new twists. I never saw any of it coming. Then just when I thought things were wrapping up, there was one last twist at the end that really threw me for a loop. It did take a little longer for the story to amp up compared to the first book, but once it did, it didn’t stop.

Awesome number of satisfying twists. Odd, but this sequel is much better than the starter. I’m a guy and this series is geared to women. Except for cringing when she talks about sexy muscle bound romance novel men, I really enjoyed the story.

Usually, I find many of the sequels or continuations of a series with repetitive characters to be highly dissatisfying, especially when the first of the books hits the way Frieda’s Housemaid does. The sequel really takes the plot on in a whole new way, and had me turning pages to see the resolution! As a contrast and greatly exciting continuation to the Housemaid, this book is worth the read, and may even be better than the first. I highly recommend!

I enjoyed the story and the good guy wins. Easy read. Not too heavy. It is very enjoyable. I have read the first two and am about to embark on the third!

I like the read It was both excellent and confusing at the same time. I didn’t like though when Wendy put the blame on millie for killing her husband After what Mille has done to help her When it was Wendy all along ect ect… But the end puts a smile on my face. But besides that I loved the book.

I’ve read the first 2 books of this series in under a month and can’t wait to start the next one!!! The twists and turns keep you guessing! McFadden writing captures my attention and keeps me wanting to read one!

Freida has done it once again! Shocking twists after twists! Of course I was hooked by the first book in the series, The Housemaid, but I completely devoured this one. This book war gripping and hard to put down. The ending though, I thought I had it figured out and knew how it was going to wrap up, but boy was I wrong, I love Millie’s character and wanting to help, however home girl continues to get herself caught up in some creepy and even dangerous situations. I can’t wait to read the next one! If you enjoy thrillers with some shocking twists, I definitely recommend this series.

Totally loved the ending – some parts I did breeze through as mindless chatter, but overall I loved the dynamics in this: the story line was easy to follow, the characters are entertaining and captivating, and it’s a fun story!!!
