Such a touching and meaningful story. Life is too short to not have wishes. To not see them through. Everyone should read The Five Wishes of Mr. Murray McBride, then look inside themselves to find their own wishes.

As I was reading this book, it felt quite predictable… and then, it became magical, and I realized how powerful people can truly be to others, as long as we can remain S.B.K.Ellen McV

I was reluctant to start this book because I thought it would be sad. There is sadness but there is love, joy, caring, faith and hope. It touches your heart in many ways. Read it and think how one small act can change so much.
Ms. Classy Glass –
This book was a wonderful warm story of love and family. The characters were well defined and it was a pleasure to spend the afternoon and evening with. The connections made were so powerful, I think I spent many pages with tissues in hand. I can’t wait to start the second book. This book can be enjoyed by people of all ages. I highly recommend you read it!

I loved this book, because of its sweetness and innocence. Through the eyes of a child and an old man, we get to see life and death. We get to feel passion and love. We let our hearts open and our tears flow. Amazing story of wishes come true, with tragedy and hope intertwined. S.B.K. Indeed!Ira Bindman, 2/17/24

What a great story!! I laughed out loud so many times as Murray describes himself (I’m closer to Murray’s age than Jason) yet also laughed out loud at Jason and what a “now” kid he is. What wonderful characters that capture your heart along the way. The unlikely connections that develop and the love that is shared is so very special. Just loved this book. My husband, not a fiction reader, loved my describing the characters and the wishes and even had tears in his eyes a couple times. SBK!!!
