The Fabulous Lost and Found and the Little Turkish mouse is not only a very fun and engaging bedtime picture book but it’s also super useful for international families such as ours. I am turkish, my husband is british and we have two young kids. living abroad, I make a real effort to keep up her Turkish and sometimes it’s a struggle to find books in Turkish that can hold her attention. The special thing about this book is that it’s basically an English picture book just like any other on the shelf. The magic is that one character – a cute mouse who has lost something – only speaks Turkish. You then work together with the other characters in the story to figure out what she’s lost. My daughter really likes it and asks for it to be read again and again.

As a Turkish American parent, I love love love this book! It’s a little advanced for my 1 year old but she still loves it until she gets distracted. I can’t wait until she is old enough to read through the whole thing. It’s a great book! I totally recommend it.
