In @ summer of my life by the time I could walk I’d spend 3 months of my life in MS. My Great Grandmother’s homes had a wealth of cousins in the my. One cousin worked at Keesler. She as an apartment across the side street from the White House pool. This book took me back!

Excellent book. Grisham does it again. This book hit home for me because I lived in Mississippi as a young child and my father’s family is from there. So many of the cities and towns I have been to.

I got this because it was Grisham’s latest so I was pretty sure my husband hadn’t read it yet. I’m pretty sure he’s read all of this author’s books, and has liked all but maybe one or two. He is hoping this title will become a tv series in the vein of Breaking Bad or Better Call Saul.

I’m not a huge of fiction but Grisham has a subtle way of sucking you in to his story with effortless weaving of the believable. I typically find more enjoyment reading true crime or memoirs maybe because most fiction is unbelievable …however..not the case here. I found myself wondering if this really happened.

I spent a week in Biloxi in 2004, one year before Katrina. I have read every Grisham book and this was a great one.
