I definitely didn’t read the instructions. For the first month I was confused why the vibrations were for a weird amount of time but don’t worry I figured it out. I’m very pleased with the durability and softness. I feel like I’m getting a great clean.
Clever Naming Scheme –
I had a Sonicare before this that I liked, but the replacement heads were expensive, the toothbrush was bulky, and even at low settings the vibration was sometimes a bit strong for me. My kid (who has sensory issues) hated using hers and hasn’t liked most powered toothbrushes, but isn’t great at brushing thoroughly with a manual one, so we tried these.I like the reusable strip that sticks the case to a mirror – it’s great at keeping the bristles covered and the brush in plain view. Kids tend to forget when it’s not right in front of them and the cover is perfect for throwing in a bag for a sleepover. The brush is light and the vibration level is gentle, but still feels like the level of cleanliness we were getting from the Sonicare. She brushes much more consistently with this and it isn’t a fight. It’s simple and easy to use and the replacement heads are affordable. Exactly what I was hoping for.

I bought the Quip in green through Amazon to replace a 10 year old sonicare. I have a permanent retainer and I need an electric brush to keep it clean. It comes ready to go with a battery, brush head and bathroom holder. It runs through a 2 minute program so you spend 30 secs in each quadrant of your mouth. It includes a card to set up brush head replacement on a subscription service. This is very important as many people don’t replace their electric toothbrush heads enough.I noticed that my brush was turning off randomly. I went thorough troubleshooting on the site, thinking that I as hitting the power button by accident. I then tried replacing the battery, you can find youtubes on how to open it up and remove the battery. It would also randomly turn off if it was running by itself on a counter.Customer service through quip.com was awesome. My support team person had me send pictures of the brush taken apart at different angles. From there she shipped me a new brush free of charge and advised that I discard the defective one. My new brush came and works perfectly.My best tips for this toothbrush:Keep the domed plastic package it comes in. A relative of mine who uses the same brush used this for travel and it did not get broken.Make sure you get the brush refills through the quip.com site. The included card has steps to do so and this will also help you process a return or replacement if needed. The additional brush heads on amazon are very expensive by comparison.

I love that this is a compact electric toothbrush. I like the timer, I like the instructions, I like the stand it comes with. The only dislike is the stand it comes with is hard to clean. When I am at home I use it as a base, but if I am traveling it can serve as a toothbrush cover. If something is going to cover my toothbrush I want to make sure it’s clean first, and I had a hard time cleaning the base/cover/stand.

Works well as a battery powered travel sonic toothbrush without the weight of my at home electric rechargeable toothbrush. The first one delivered did not function. Returning for exact replacement was easy and the working replacement arrived in two days. Great customer service.
