The Putogesafe Smoke Detectors are the smallest smoke detectors that I have ever seen. They are only around 2.75 inches in diameter. (See one of my attached photos with a ruler.) Although they are tiny, they are very loud. They sound just like regular size smoke detectors – LOUD!I like the fact that these smoke detectors arrived with a 10-year battery already installed in them. They also arrived with all of the required mounting hardware. The enclosed instructions were helpful. FYI, I attached two images of the instructions in case you want to read them prior to ordering.Activating the two Putogesafe Smoke Detectors was easy. Just install the plastic mounting plate onto the back of the smoke detector, and then secure it by turning it clockwise. After you install the plastic mounting plate, the smoke detector will emit a loud chip, and you are then ready to mount it onto your ceiling. The instructions provide guidance on the best places to mount them.Summary: The Putogesafe Smoke Detectors seem to work well. If I start to get any false alarms, I will update this review. In the meantime, I think these smoke detectors are well made, and I give them 5 Stars.

So I did not know that smoke detectors had a limited lifespan until recently when I was replacing the 9V battery in one and noticed an expiration date printed on the back. This was immediately concerning to me because pretty much all of my smoke detectors had been installed at the same time and now I just discovered that they were all outdated and needed to be replaced. I ordered these Putogesafe smoke detectors because they come with a built-in 10 year lithium battery. Not only will I never had to replace another 9V battery or deal with annoying chirps in the middle of the night twice a year, but when these go out I’ll know it’s time to replace the entire detector again.These smoke detectors are quite small and easy to install. They come with an adhesive disk if you want to stick them on the wall and screws/anchors if you want to mount them more traditionally. They quickly blend in to your decor and you don’t really notice them. I’ve tested these deliberately with a lit match and accidentally by overheating the griddle in the kitchen and they respond quickly. Maybe a little too quick. But better safe than sorry. The alarm itself is very loud and it’s surprising to know it comes out of such a tiny device. I’m pleased with these smoke detectors and I haven’t found any faults with them.

I needed to replace the detector in my class B RV. It could not be too big. This was perfect. The magnetic mounting made it extremely easy to replace the old detector.

The media could not be loaded. These fire detectors fit in the palm of your hands are easy to put up and come with all of the hardware! I got these because several of our fire alarms needed to be replaced I wasn’t quite sure if I’d like them, but I do. The design of them are super sleek, when you test them they are easy to hear all through the house, they come with the option of being stuck on/up or screwed into the wall, which is always a great option sometimes you just don’t want to put holes in the wall! Make sure you read all of the instructions and understand how these ones work they are different than the basic ones that you buy at your local hardware store. If I didn’t say this earlier I’ll say it again they are LOUD when you test them and I really really hope I never have the need for them to go off because of a fire. I hope these last the 10yrs they state because to can’t change the batteries, hence another reason I decided on these- that saves me a 9volt battery every 6months or Year.. and honestly normal fire alarms are not only big and ugly they are about the same price as these (at least here in Utah).
