This water fountain is fantastic. I started out with a Catit have been using it for over a year figured it was time for an upgrade. I prefer stainless steel so easy to keep clean. The cats love it too,

I like how easy it was to assemble, and the water flow is great my cats love drinking out of it and it keeps the water clean versus having just a water bowl down. I like the round window that lets you see how much water is inside and the blue light. I don’t see any downside on the fountain.

Bough this to replace an old and large Petsafe fountain that had gotten pretty grungy after years of use. My large breed dog crossed the bridge a few weeks ago and my itty bitty kitty does not need the same large amount of water that the dog consumed.Received and set up yesterday. Very easy set up (be sure to disk that charcoal filter for a few minutes first!) there doesn’t appear to be a ton of books and crannies that are difficult to clean and can harbor mold. I’m impressed with the dial filter, the one around the motor should really help yo keep the impeller fur free. I like being able to see the water level at a glance (he has already went through 1/4 of it, he really likes to drink). He took right to it. I got it set up, put it in place and he immediately began inspecting it because…cat. Then I plugged it in and he was immediately delighted. He played with the stream for a bit, did the paw test to see the water depth, then just hung out directly next to it to vibe on the motor vibrations. Occasionally he leans his head in to suck some water up, then goes back to vibing.So far, I can’t see a down side to this thing. As long as the motor holds out I can see this being a long term solution for us. The stainless will be a much easier thing to clean over the hard plastic of the previous fountain. I’ve been told that a lot of cats don’t like drinking or eating out of metal dishes, but I was told that well after I bought stainless food dishes for the cat that he’s been happily eating and drinking out of for a while now. So, if you haven’t done the “stainless” test to find out if your cat will use a metal container, you may want to check that with a cheap fish before you invest in this fountain.

This has the best filtration system I’ve seen in a cat water fountain. I’ve been through 4 in the past years and it’s not a chore to clean and replace the filter. I have four cats, and I’ve noticed their water intake increase but the tank holds so much water I’m not worried about coming home to an a loud sucking sound of an empty fountain every night. Love the light to see the level. Really impressed.
