I’m trying formal style this time. And this Mikasa was an excellent choice. The color and pattern are understated and yet elegant.I noticed slight imperfections though. The edge on some bowls are slightly crooked. And the bowls are shallow. It’s ok for soup, but you’ll need another set of bowls for things like could cereal. It’s a formal set, so I understand it.

I purchased two services for eight each and am so happy with the packing and quality of the dishes. I selected used sets and every piece came fully intact and none of the internal boxes were opened. The pieces are all of nice size particularly the dinner plate which is approximately 10.5 in. I love the pattern and I’m so excited to use these for upcoming holidays.
