I bought this kit primarily for the protective plastic shell for the MacBook 15″.The top and bottom shells snap on in a perfect fit. There are large rubber-like feet that do a good job of gripping on slippery surfaces. There are holes provided for all the laptop’s jacks.Also included were a tiny USB adapter going from USB C to USB A, neat.There’s also a few stick-on camera covers that I shared across my laptops and tablets. They are thin enough to close the laptop cover on without problem. Apple uses the camera to make adjustments to the brightness of the screen so you’ll lose that ability on your machines that do that.I put the keyboard cover on initially and have since removed it and put it back on. The Apple’s key pad is not known to be the type that wear out. The keyboard cover gives the keys a rubber membrane fell that is positive and not slippery at all. It does also block the illumination for the keys which means sometimes I remove the pad and sometimes I put it back on. The pad fits perfectly and still allows the use of the finger print scanner.Finally there’s a trackpad cover and again, Apple’s trackpads are not known to wear out early. I didn’t use this cover as I like a very sensitive pad and the feel of the Apple surface feels right under my fingers.The kit is an outstanding overall value for a very complete kit that fits the Apple AirBook 15″ (2023) perfectly.
