After my pup had Surgery I purchased this for the few times a week I had to leave him alone and it’s crate there’s no way the cone would have fit in comfortably and safely but I couldn’t risk him chewing on his stitches Also using it when he gets itchy during his allergy season takes his focus off for a little while and he forgets 🙏

WAAAAAY better than a plastic cone. My dog has such short little legs she could not walk with a cone. I used this when she had a cut on her paw. I had to put medicine on it, I loved it, it saved me from little jaws trying to stop me, and from her licking the medicine. She still hated it but it’s better than a cone.

This dog of mine loves to scratch…..in fact so much that he tends to get infection on his face. I feel bad when I put the cone of shame on him, so I bought one of these. Oh my gosh….this is the best invention. My only complaint is now he snores like a man….I can live with that though.

My dog manages to get out of the plastic cone head but not this one. He can walk, jump out of the bed and jump on, and he can sleep. Warning, they will be mad at you in the beginning but realize it’s not so bad. So glad I bought this. I put it on because he had dermatitis and ear infections.

My dogs have had to wear those lampshade type cones and they are awful on the dog and us. This is like having a pillow around his neck. It’s inflatable with a nice, soft, removable cover. Cover zips in and out, so it’s secure. No way for the inside to slide out. You slide the dogs normal collar through the loops on the inside circle. Then you put it around the dogs neck, hook the collar then hook a Velcro strap. Very easy to put on and take off. I would recommend this over the old kind any day. Make sure to measure your dogs neck then go by the size chart. It’s accurate for the one I got.

My small dog had major hip surgery and will be in a collar for weeks. Of course, we got the standard vet issued “cone of shame” and, as expected, he hated it and so did we. We then tried several of the flat soft-stuffed donuts and one of them broke within 24 hours, one he removed in 10 minutes and the other he tripped over when it was sized large enuf to keep him from chewing on his hip. This one is the keeper. It is nice and soft material with an adjustable velcro close. Further “adjustment” is possible by filling the donut more or less to get a perfect fit. He is unable to reach the hip surgical site and doesn’t seem to hate this too awfully much. It is possible for him to eat and drink fairly normally (though he does “ask” me to remove it at mealtimes … puppy dog eyes are a very effective communication mode). It look uncomfortable for sleeping to me as they can’t actually lay their heads down but he seems to manage. We can’t wait to get rid of it but, meanwhile, it’s not horrid. Good product at fair price. Our dog is a yorkie-poodle-etc. mix at 13 pounds with an 11 inch neck and the Medium fit perfectly.
