Works as you would expect
Happy Customer –
Hoping they last the full 10 years. Had one just like this the Red Cross installed and it only lasted two months!
Sandra Johnson –
Place we bought had no working smoke detectors. We bought 3! Have them installed
Amber Way –
Very nice look and led light flashes every few seconds to let you know it’s still monitoring.
Jerry L Jones –
These smoke detectors were used to replace the same detectors that were past the ten year mark. The price is right and you don’t have to worry with batteries.
E Biker –
Kidde has the experience in home smoke detectors. Delivered on time, 10 year battery life (will see), easy to install. Purchased ten.
Ellen Goldstein –
It’s working fine !! Easy to install

Smoke detectors are something you don’t want to scrimp and save money on. These were recommended by the township safety inspector when I purchased my condo. They did take a long time to arrive, but the price was excellent. Installation is straightforward. Worth the wait.

One went off when cooking today so I know it works! Really well-made, although I’m really most excited about not having to worry about batteries or annoying/incessant beeping in the middle of the night! Replaced every single of those annoying models and am living in the future right now. In all seriousness, these things are loud and blink every so often so I know they have power. Also, don’t be like me: these things are activated ONLY when you twist it onto the wall mount. They installed pretty easily but did take time to do – and make sure you follow the instruction guide and where to place them on your wall or ceiling. Well worth the price, despite being pricier, but I figure they pay for themselves in convenience alone.
