When I received the jars unfortunately 1 out of 12 came with a crack straight through the whole jar. I e-mailed KeaBabies about a replacement and they responded so quickly! Make Your Own Baby Food
I bought these after reviewing many options in order to make baby food for my grandson. They are a very substantial glass and the top has an inner gasket. I tested one and filled it halfway with water to allow for vigorous shaking. There was no leaking at all and I then left it upside down overnight without a hint of a leak. The glass portion is obviously dishwasher safe and they claim the lids are as well. I worry about the inner gasket over time so I just hand wash those, but they may be perfectly safe in the dishwasher. I find that they have plenty of room, but they are 4 ounces only if you fill them to the rim. Be sure to read the instructions that come in the packaging. You need to leave the jar out on the counter for about 5 minutes rather than putting it right into the microwave in order to prevent the glass from breaking.

Glass baby food containers
These are very nice, perfect size for my baby’s meals! I let them thaw in warm water before popping them in the microwave. They close tightly (rubber band on the inside of the cap). I designated purple and red for fruits, green and yellow for veggies only and blues for veggies + meat!

So, I read their little manual! It said it let it defrost atleast 15-30 minutes! It still breaks! They are cute little jars but I’ve already lost 2 jars plus they’re kinda pricey

Pros:Can be frozen and microwavableHas markings for measurements in mLDifferent cap colors to help differentiateGlassCons:There is a plastic rubber liner inside the cap to help prevent leaks, about 1/3 of them had faulty rubber liners and where stretched out. Noted they get more warped when microwaved or dishwashed. Without the liner, you can still close the jar, but it won’t be leak proof.So note, about a third is not up to standard.

Great jars
These are great sturdy jars. I use them to store homemade baby food. My only issue is, they are sooooooo hard to open back up!! I have to keep the lids slightly loose. Even my husband needs to use all his strength to open it back up.

Amazing Jars a must for your baby
I receive my Jars today, they are very well made and I love the different colors on the lid.I would love to point out that these Jars come with very clear instructions, do not microwave until you let the jams stand out to room temp.Same concept before putting the Jars in hot water let them sit out to room temp.I read a review that’s 2 months in there Jars broke, comment sense now you know why they broke.I love there Jars I am expecting my first baby and I am using some off them for me, I love taking fruits and nuts and home made granola to work with yogurt- these Jars are a must have, perfect size for personal use or baby food Jars, I have had so many similar Jars and the quality does not come close to these.For the price it is well worth the money.I am going to order more once my baby Comes in August’s.Very happy honest review 😊 .Thank you to the people who have taken the time and patients to make good quality Jars, good size easy to clean with clear instructions that serve the purpose.

*changing originally disappointed to impressed with KeaBabies customer service!
*Edit* company reached out to me after hearing of the disappointment of 2 jars inadequancy and after explaining my experience they made the offer to replace the broken jars and added to look into the needed improvements in their future products. * the following was my original review- adding that the instructions in the packaging states to leave jars at room temperature for 5 minutes after removing from fridge or freezer before heating-Buying jars that can be frozen, heated, dishwasher safe and all you’d think they were durable but I have had 1 crack and another bottom break off in less than 2 weeks of use. And the jars were Not cold and put in hot water, they were room temp jars with food out of a can (also room temp) put in warm water (out of faucet), good thing I dont use boiling water or microwave to heat up my baby’s food. I guess I was expecting canning quality glass, I should have just bought smallest Ball or Kerr brand instead of “baby friendly” quite upsetting when you pay $30 for a set. Thankyou Keababies for impressive customer service for us mommas trying to do right by our babes!

Great storage containers
We use this to store breastmilk at this time. Definitely leak proof. Love that I can label the dates easily with a dry erase marker. Easy to clean. We broke one lid when it dropped from the fridge, but the glass did not break and the milk did not spill out either, surprisingly. I just discovered the crack after.

Right-sized and practical containers for baby food preparation.
My daughter loved the size and quantity that each container can hold. She is just starting to prepare “food” for her six-month-old and divides the servings in each containers. They’re small enough that they don’t overcrowd the refrigerator. She also likes that they’re made of glass instead of plastic so they won’t get stained by some fruits and/or vegetables and health safety from some plastic products. Overall, a very good product.

Amazing quality
I am using these for baby food that I’ve prepared myself and I am very impressed with the great quality. The seal once closed is airtight to keep the food fresh longer. Very durable (I’ve dropped them a time or two on the wooden floor). The size is perfect and overall very pleased with them.

Great baby food jars
After quite a bit of searching, I chose the KeaBabies glass jars. I like that they don’t have any ink and the caps are nice gender neutral colors. They are well made and the glass is fairly thick. Other reviewers mentioned breakage in the microwave, but the instructions say not to put them in the microwave directly from the refrigerator/freezer (they suggest waiting 15 min). I’ve had these for a month and haven’t had any issues. I took one star off because the bottom of the jar on the inside is curved upward, so good sometimes gets stuck on the outer edges and is difficult to get with a baby spoon. But that doesn’t affect being able to clean it (either by hand or in the dishwasher). Overall, I would recommend!

Breaks in the microwave
I have used these for a few months now and they have been great for food storage! Today I put one in the microwave for 30 seconds and it broke right in half. I didn’t know it was possible for these glass jars to do that so please beware.

Great product!
These are the perfect size! I use these for my son’s baby food. I have put everything from hot pureed to yogurt parfait. Put them through the dishwasher on the top shelf multiple times and still look brand new! Seal is also good, sometimes too good haha. There are measurements engraved on the side which is helpful to know how much food my child is eating or not eating. Overall good product.
