Like the single plugs this is easy to set up and we started saving $ on our electric bill the very first day. I’m so glad we got these. I even set up a group called “fans” that can turn on the floor fans to cool down the building on a schedule that works for us. We also don’t waste $ by someone forgetting to turn something off. So excited to implement this for our business and shave a big chunk off our electricity bill.

My first KASA power strip. Easy to set up, as I expected. The only caveat is that I didn’t see any identification on the outlets as to which was #1 . I initially guessed wrong and set them up backwards, but it was easy to get them set up correctly. All this was done in a half dark room at half past my normal bedtime, and finished in probably 15 minutes.I’ll say I’m a fan of KASA Smart products. I started with the smart plugs, then got smart switches, smart dimmer switches, smart cameras and smart light strips. Now the smart power strip. Easy to set up and to control remotely from anywhere I have internet. The KASA App is very intuitive and easy to navigate. I have briefly tried the Tapo App (works with KASA devices), and I much prefer the KASA App. The KASA App isn’t reverse compatible with Tapo devices (a sister company I believe) so if I do get any Tapo cameras etc, then I shall have to try the Tapo app again. As it is I recommend KASA devices to anyone that wants to add to their smart home.

I have several of these strips for different rooms in my house. I love them. I purchased this one for underneath the headboard of my platform bed. Now I can control and turn everything on and off individually from the Kasa app and avoid power running to items I do not need on. Only draw back is that if you have a change to your wifi it is hard to find the info to reset it. The trick was to press and hold the #6 outlets on/off button and then set it up through the app again as the first time. Also, I had a lightning strike in my yard that completely fried everything in my neighbors house. You can see the black soot on the one strip that the surge protection kicked in on and NOTHING including the strip itself was put out of commission. The strip and all outlets including the one affected all still work.

I will start with this, I have an absolutely ridiculous amount of Kasa and Tapo devices, so my opinion may be quite biased. With that out of the way, it’s exactly how it sounds, a smart power strip with some surge protection. Unfortunately the box does not specify what what level of surge protection is offered. The main power switch shuts off the power to the whole strip while each plug has a button for individual control. The only downside is that the USBs are always on.I use this in my garage, where I have all of the battery chargers for my tools connected to it. I originally had a dumb strip on it with a smart plug. This meant that all of the chargers and batteries would have be powered on and charging even if I only needed one battery to be charged. Now I can turn on each individual charger, and don’t have to worry about possibly damaging the other batteries. It’s very well built, and responds instantly from the app. If I had to give it any cons it is that TP-Link hasn’t updated it to be HomeKit compatible. I get around this by using Homebridge which takes all of my Kasa devices and forcing them to be exposed to HomeKit. Still I’d prefer if it was supported natively though.Overall it’s a great device that will get plenty of use in my house.

Like any household we always have power strip outlet. What’s one more? The reason why I picked this out was because it had six smart outlet. And three USB. Not like those other smart outlet where three is only smart. What I love about this is that I can control my electronics without having it run all day plugged in. Also, the fact that I can control with either Alexa or Google. I can schedule a certain light to turn on. I can say a phrase to Alexa and it turns on one or two electronics or appliances. Granted, the price is a little high for a power strip … But it’s best when you can buy either on prime day or black Friday. You just have to keep it eye out on sales. I have bought a total of 9. The downside of course is if down wifi you can’t control it. You can push a little button to turn it on. You can group outlets into rooms. There are feature actions and smart actions. I do hope one day they change one USB to a USB-C. The USB port is not smart though. I like to see the energy usage on the device when it’s on and when it’s off. It allows me to know that when it’s off, it’s not using any energy. Growing up, you were always told to unplug it if you’re not using it. Every time there is a good sale. I make sure I buy one. it’s easy to use an easy to turn on. Best smart outlet power strip on market so far.

Bought this so could re-boot modem, firewall and router while away from home if glitch occurred. Hooked everythig up and tested. Modem, firewall and router shut off as expected, but then could not turn back on… WTF… Dum-ass situation… If you turn off the modem, firewall and router, the stupid strip can no longer communicate. Lesson learned. However, there was a work-around. The strip is programmable on timed basis that does not depend on WiFi connectivity. So, I simply programmed it to reboot everything (Modem, Firewall and Router) in sequence a few times a week, late at night. This is working perfectly. Even if I lose remote connectivity, I just have to wait a day for the re-boot sequence and boom! I am back online. So not exacly what I had envisioned initially, but proble solved! I am good!

It is easy to setup, easy to use the app, easy to use with Alexa. I hesitated due to price but now I am replacing every power strip with this. Its completely worth it.

I recently purchased the Kasa Smart Plug Power Strip HS300, and I must say, it is a game changer! This surge protector provides me with peace of mind and makes my life so much easier. One of the standout features of this power strip is the fact that it has six individually controlled smart outlets. I can manage each outlet separately through the Kasa app on my phone. It is incredibly convenient to turn on and off devices with just a tap on my phone screen. Whether turning off the lights when I’m already in bed or scheduling my coffee maker to start brewing in the morning, this power strip allows me to automate and personalize my home’s electrical system. The HS300 also includes 3 USB ports, an excellent addition for charging multiple devices simultaneously. I no longer have to search for available wall outlets or carry around various chargers when I travel. The USB ports are fast-charging and provide enough power to charge my devices quickly.Another significant benefit of this product is its compatibility with Alexa and Google Home. I can easily integrate it into my existing smart home ecosystem and control it using voice commands. It’s pretty impressive to say, “Alexa, turn off all the lights,” and watch as all the connected devices respond accordingly.Furthermore, setting up the HS300 was a breeze. It doesn’t require any additional hubs or complicated installations. All I had to do was plug it in, download the Kasa app, and follow simple steps to connect it to my Wi-Fi network.Regarding drawbacks, one thing to note is that the power strip is pretty large compared to standard ones. This may be an issue if you need more space or want something more compact.Overall, I highly recommend the Kasa Smart Plug Power Strip HS300. Its individually controlled outlets, USB ports, compatibility with intelligent assistants, and easy setup make it a fantastic addition to any home. It has made my life more convenient and efficient, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

I recently received an Echo Show as a gift, and was excited to begin my foray into the world of smart products. I started with lights and plugs, thinking this would help me reduce my energy consumption. I also have ADHD, so it would help me during those times when I forget to turn things off. After having a poor experience with a highly-rated but not so great no-name brand, this Kasa smart power strip was the first time I strayed from Govee products, and I’m glad I gave it a shot. The pairing experience was easy. Their app works and is intuitive to use. It allows you to name each outlet individually, and rearrange them on the fly if you need to (useful if you unplug a few things and re-plug them back in to different outlets). Each plug has an indicator light to let you know if it’s powered on or off. Inside the app, lies my favorite feature. It actually tracks power consumption and gives you breakdowns of power use for each plug daily, weekly, and monthly. You can also view real-time power consumption for each outlet (I added a few pictures so you can see what this looks like). This helps me see where exactly my power bill money is coming from, and allow me to make adjustments if/where I can. This power strip also feels well-made – it’s certainly not your typical $5 offering at a big box store. My only gripe is that the two USB outlets do not have Smart Control features on them, and also that there are no USB-C outlets. This is probably the *only* thing that keeps me from buying more of these. I would hope that this will be updated soon, as electronics are moving towards the USB-C standard globally. Overall, I’m happy with this purchase. It’s one of the few offerings in this category on the market, and one of the only ones I felt comfortable giving a shot. I’d say it’s definitely worth a try if you’re considering, just be aware of its teeny tiny shortcomings in the USB-outlet department. I’ve had this for about 3 months and have no issues so far, but will update over time to see what the longevity of this product is like.

I love easy smart home automation. I purchased 3 of these units to install in various locations to control the power outlet for a few devices in the home. Mainly my IT office and garage. There are some things in the house I want to be able to know I can turn off remotely and also watch the power utilization. Which I didnt think I would care about power usage itself that much, but it has been handy to see the power usage of devices plugged in to see how they actually affect my wallet over time.I was really shocked to find that this strip could handle the needs of my garage air compressor and shopvac just fine. Air compressor was very handy as I can command Alexa to turn the air compressor on or off when needed and no it wasnt going to go off in the middle of the night trying to recharge the garage air system. Modern air compressor by the way, check your air compressor power needs before using as some pumps need very large start up power to begin use, but my air compressor design allows for “easy start” by removing compression from the first few strokes. But still 11 amps of power on startup.I used them to connect the different leads for the outdoor christmas lights and set digital timers on each plug to turn and off at defined times to avoid worrying about anything outdoors and even the christmas tree itself. Mind blowing to have it manage them all through the weeks of the holidays.I really have no complaints thus far, as the ability to manually turn on and off per port is there, USB charging is onboard (note not remote controllable of course, they are on if power to the board is on). You can groups ports into different programs, or schedule independently. Nice to look at, well constructed as well. You do have to use the KASA home app to set them up initially, but can easily combine with other home automation systems like Google Home and Alexa. I have both systems possible as well as others. No hub required at all.Give each port its own name and you can command that device at will. Great work, looking at getting more soon.
