I have purchased and thrown away or returned four different models. Until these. They work. I’ve had them for a month now and there is no job that I can’t throw at them that they don’t knock out of the park. So right now five stars man. Buy these people. Not sure what it is. Maybe it’s the higher amperage. These are 15 amp max whereas most maybe you’re just 8 or 10 amp. I am very happy with these products. I bought them, nobody’s paying me anything to say what I’m saying, I’m saying buy them.

I am a plant person, I stopped counting how many I have at 400, yeah, I might have too many.Anyway, with all these plants, I need to make sure my little planties have the humidity they crave and have the amount of light they need.Enter the Kasia Plug. I have been using them for 2.5 years now, and think it is about time I write a review. I use them for my lights and my humidifiers for my plants. So, I use the app. In the app, you can set your schedules for the plugs (more on that in a bit). As well as group some or all of the plugs together. When you set up a plug, it is super easy peasy. You plug it into the way, then open the app. In the app, hit set up a new device, it will look and find it. Once it has, there might be an update, but then you name it, set a location, and can even set a thumb nail for it. Now, this thumb nail can be one of the default one that Kasia loaded into the app, OR! you can use a picture you take. So I take pictures of the location the lights/humidifiers are and use that, so I know exactly what one I am looking at.If you are still reading, the next part is about how I use it with my vaporizers. So I started looking into humidifiers, and my goodness they can be spendy. Then I remembered this Vicks Vaporizer from when I was a kid When I would get sick, mom would bring it out and set it up when I went to bed.Well, it is basically the same thing as those high-end vaporizers, at a fraction of the cost.So here is the hack, I have 3 of them for my house. I put them all on Kasia smart plugs, and have them turn on for 45 minutes, and then off for 2 hours. Then made sure that they will all be running at different times. Now, I have 20Ft ceilings so your place may need different amounts of time, but this is the way to go. I do have to fill them once a day or so, and you will also have to add a dash of salt to the water (I do use tap water), and it has been a great system so far, and is at a fraction of the cost as a big enough vaporizer for my home.I highly recommend this route. They hold a gallon and a half of water, and I have never seen one go bad. If you are lucky, you might even find one at a Value Village/Goodwill store near you!Plus, when you are feeling a bit under the weather, you will have one on hand, just like the old days.Good luck!

Most of the lighting in our home is now controlled by Alexa through various devices. A majority is on Lutron Caseta dimmer controls, but there are some lamps that are better and less expensively served by simple on/off switches. I have tried several brands of these WiFi outlets, and found most of them lacking…they either lose connectivity or are very slow to respond to commands. The Kasa Smart Plug is a shining exception to this. The plugs set up easily through a Kasa app, which requires some knowledge of how to shift your smartphone’s WiFi connection to a new plug’s local WiFi connection. (It switches your phone back to your regular network connection once the plug is set up.) The setup takes 2 minutes of your time, and after that, it appears to work flawlessly.Using it with Alexa, I can command a “scene” to execute, and the Kasa plugs will always respond instantly to it while other devices experience a short delay in receiving the command. I attribute this to more thorough integration with the various hubs (like Alexa) that Kasa supports. Finally (and this is not at all trivial) the plugs are sized and oriented in a way that they do not cover other outlets where they are plugged in—including the adjacent outlet on a quad setup (4 outlets on one appearance). This makes them good neighbors in a world where tech “wall warts” are notorious for hogging space in the most awkward way possible.I recommend the Kasa devices, either this version or the newer version that also supports Apple Homekit.

The price for a set of four is about the same as one regular priced Alexa outlet. It does require a separate app to set up the outlets, but once you do that and add them to the Alexa skills they are wonderful to deal with. I have already enjoyed setting up 4 outlets with lights attached and love the ease of use once set up. They do take the extra time to set up but it is well worth it in savings.

I wanted a smart plug for the lamp in my office. The lamp is in the far corner and far away from the door. I kept tripping over things. UGG. This is great because you don’t need a bridge to use it. It hooked up easily to my Google Home. The one bit of the learning curve, though, is getting this connected to the Wi-Fi. The set up tells you it needs to be connected to the Wi-Fi, but it fails to tell you you need to go to settings and select it so that it connect to the Wi-Fi. Once you figure this out, it’s very easy. But for us, baby boomers, it took a little bit of effort. I actually ended up having to call the tech-support people, and they were very patient and telling me what to do.Need a smart plug? This one is it. I will definitely purchase from this company again in the future.

The Kasa Smart Plug HS103P4 has been a great addition to my smart home setup. Its compatibility with Alexa, Echo, Google Home, and IFTTT makes it incredibly versatile and easy to integrate with existing smart devices.Setting up the smart plug was a breeze, thanks to the intuitive Kasa app. I appreciate the compact design, which doesn’t block adjacent outlets, allowing me to use multiple plugs in the same area without any issues. The remote control feature via the Kasa app is convenient, allowing me to turn devices on or off from anywhere. Plus, the scheduling function helps automate routines, adding convenience and energy savings to my daily life. While the smart plug performs admirably in most aspects, I did encounter occasional connectivity issues, particularly when my Wi-Fi network was congested. Additionally, the responsiveness of voice commands with Alexa and Google Home could be slightly improved.Overall, the Kasa Smart Plug HS103P4 offers great value for its price, providing reliable smart home automation with seamless integration into popular voice assistants. Despite minor connectivity hiccups, it’s a solid choice for anyone looking to upgrade their home with smart functionality.

All Kasa stuff just works. Easy setup. Never get stuck setting them up. They work 100% and software is the best!

These are a lot easier to pair to the network than the older Kasa Smart plug and they work great for remote control of just about anything that you connect to them they are only limited to the fifteen-amp circuit but that is all most household receptacles are rated. TP-Link did a great job with the design and function of these. I do not know of any other smart plug that is as easy to use as these and they are very inexpensive.I have three oil filled heaters that I connect to them when I am out of town, and I can control them from anywhere that I have a phone signal. One of my heaters is in a utility room off the garage, one is in the garage for some plants and the last one is in my shop in case the old air handler fails.

These are great! We have probably 8 of them around the house, don’t want to get up and turn on the fan? Kasa smart plug. Want your coffee ready for you every morning without going downstairs to turn it on? Kasa smart plug on a schedule. Don’t want to go outside and turn on your x-mas lights every night? Kasa smart plug. I have never had any problems with these, they are easy to set up and stay connected.
