Once you have basic smoke detectors in your house, these are great to supplement in your house. We now have a bunch of smoke detectors in our house, since we’ve been through a fire. Change batteries 2x year and hope you never have to hear that blaring sound of smoke in your house.

This unit is very reasonably priced to be a combination. Smoke/carbon monoxide detector. It has voice alerts and it’s quite loud. You will definitely not have issues hearing it if it goes off in the night. First Alert is but making great products for many years. No worries in trusting their products.

If you sleep through this your probably dead & don’t know it! The install was easy, just the wood panel at my place holds it securely. It replace another brand that was suppose to last 10 years. Well it didn’t & rather than upgrade through them I passed & bought this unit. It is loud & I am hard of hearing. I think you will be satisfied with install & the easy to replace AA batteries.
