HIGH-QUALITY PLA PLASTIC
The 3D pen filaments are PLA plastic that is made from renewable resources. It is non-toxic and safe to use in-home or in classrooms.
What Is PLA?
PLA plastic or polylactic acid is a decomposable thermoplastic made from raw materials such as corn starch and sugarcane. In 2010, it was the second most important bioplastic in consumption value. Aside from 3D pen filaments, it is often used in food handling and medical implants that break down within our body.
How does it affect the quality of the filament?
The vegetable-based plastic material helps give the non-toxic filament it’s smooth and even flow without any odd odors, smoke, and nozzle clogging. It also helps produce brighter lines and colors without bubbles. This filament, when compared to other filaments, is also the safest option for children and adults.

WIDE COMPATIBILITY
The set is universally compatible with most 3D pens and 3D printers out there with PLA filament of 1.75mm diameter. The temperature range of the filament is 329°F – 455°F (165°C – 235°C), which is well in the range of most 3D pens and printers.
*Not compatible with the 3Doodler Pen; make sure your 3D pen or printer could use 1.75 mm diameter PLA filament refills.

Santa got some major points for delivering such a great surprise. You do need tons of filament with it, which is easy to find. I suggest ordering them together, because the included filament will not be enough. I will leave a review for the one I ordered, it was fine. The included clear plastic is a joke – everything stuck to it. Don’t even try. We used a regular kitchen bamboo board – it is easy to draw on it with pencil.
