For the purpose of securing cables together or to lock a small object to an anchor, this is a really nice kit. The cables are basically made for you and all you have to do is crimp them. You can adjust the size of the loop by pulling one end of the cable through the ferrule. The crimping tool is solid and applies sufficient force to securely lock the ferrules to the cable and prevent slipping. It’s not often I find such a handy tool at a reasonable price, but I feel like I did this time. It’s a good value for the money and a handy kit to have around.

This is a great starter set for affixing more or less permanent tethers to cable. It 10 preformed 1/16″ coated 12″ cable tethers, a crimping tool and some extra crimping sleeves. The crimping tool can also be used to cut the cables. The set is very easy to use and the tethers can be cut as short as desired.The only negative for me to report is that extra preformed stainless steel cable tethers are somewhat pricey, it’s probably more cost effective to purchase a bulk roll of 1/16″ stainless steel cable and bulk crimping sleeves. Despite that I think it’s a great set and I highly recommend it.

I was having an issue at work with my monitor, dock, and every other cable “disappearing”. After using this kit to strap everything to my desk I no longer have that issue. No more going to IT every few days for a new dock.
