If you travel internationally, you’ll find electric tea kettles in most accommodations. Time to bring some of that convenience into your own home. I have one in my shop and another in one of my greenhouses. Heats quickly and reheats even quicker for that second or third cup. Sure is nice to enjoy a cup of my favorite coffee (Korean or Turkish), instant hot chocolate, or instant spiced apple cider and I can offer a guest a cup too. Also handy for instant grits or oatmeal for a quick breakfast or snack. I particularly like the glass carafe model so I can watch the water come to a vigorous boil.

i had this amzn brand 1 L hot water kettle over a year (15 months), i m type 2 diabetic and drink more water ( via hot tea) than normal, about 3 L a day and EVERYDAY, so far no problem. leaking? i saw somereviewer, but not this one, sometime i fill tap water and found some spill outside wall but not leaking at all.some other non-amzn brand kettle power swither on top that is not convienent, or not hot enough to stop heating, only thing not sure is 1500W power maybe too high i dont mind wait extra minnite to boiling in return to last extra year lifei think amzn staff who get this deal and quality realy deserve credits, sales speaks for itsself

After 3 years of using a 45 cup water heater that stayed on constantly, I decided to move to an electric kettle that turns on and off so as to not have power being drawn continuously. I use this kettle at least 3 times a day. It quickly boils liquid in approximately 2 minutes. It has an auto off function which I like. The blue light makes it mesmerizing to watch. This is nice when my brain is easily entertained in the morning while I wait for the water to make oatmeal and tea.However, I agree with other reviewers that it is a bit wobbly on the base. In addition, I am trying to remove plastics from my household and the bottom of the lid is plastic which seems unnecessary in my opinion.

I am very happy with my purchase. The pot is very compact and put together very well. It’s easy to use. I looked at a couple of different pots with different features. I just needed a simple pot that heated the water fast. I read a bunch of reviews the good and bad reviews and wasn’t too sure what was true and not a paid review. I finally decided on this one because I read a review that had a video demonstration which showed real time how fast the pot boiled the water, which is the only feature I was concerned about. After I got it and used it for the first time, I was very pleased and very surprised how fast a full pot of water got to the point of extreme boiling, to be honest the water was done in under 2 minutes. I couldn’t believe it, I flipped the switch went to grab cup to put a tea bag in it and before I got the tea bag out of package and in the cup the pot was boiling rapidly and was done enough for me, but I waited to see if the safety feature kicked in which it did ( automatic shut off ). So I am very pleased with this Amazon product. Keep up the good work.

My wife and I drink Korean teas daily and this kettle’s utility is amazing. We heat up the water few times a day, and so far it has been very quick and safe.

I like this tea kettle. It boils a mugs worth of water In about 2 minutes, and about 4 minutes for a whole liter. The stainless steel exterior is attractive, and makes it easy to clean. If you’ve never used an electric kettle before, and try this out, I doubt you’ll ever go back to using a stove top tea kettle ever again.

Nice design and easy to use. Love the way the base plate has all the electrics and the pot itself is separate.I bought this so I could make Taster’s Choice instant coffee now and then. Its so much better than doing this on an electric stove. This is very fast and works simply. It even stops once the water is boiling and is very fast. Got the Taster’s Choice on Amazon as well. Love it so far. Works as advertised. No quality issues so far. Fill it up, press the button and walk away. No more babysitting the kettle. Heats the house up WAY less, so much better for use when the air conditioning is on. I use it as part of my morning routine to clean and preheat a stainless steel vacuum coffee carafe. And when somebody wants tea, hot cocoa, or whatever, you can walk away and do other things while your water heats up. And no risk of forgetting the stovetop kettle, having it boil dry, and causing unpleasant issues.

This is the perfect hot water kettle for one or two people. It’s compact and quick. I love no longer having to worry about a whistling tea kettle on the stove. This shuts off as soon as it boils. Love the gauge, so I’m not heating up too much water. I considered buying a more expensive one, but realized I didn’t need different temperature settings because we only drink black tea.

This is my first Amazon Basics purchase and I can honestly say it’s a real deal!So easy, so fast, and heats beautifully. The size is perfect for about 4 cups of tea,water boils quickly so tea bags quickly steep and make for a delicious cuppa!Nice clean lines on the kettle for easy cleaning and functional. Takes up littlespace and looks good on the counter. Highly recommend. Makes me think I’llbe purchasing more Amazon Basics.
