Made the switch to glass
Don’t get me wrong. I’m not against plastic. In fact, these have plastic lids. But as far as these types of storage containers for leftovers and such, I’m switching to glass because our old plastic containers… you know after a while – they look terrible. They’re stained. They’re scratched up. In other words, they’re beat up. But the worst part? They were making our food taste funny. I figured that was a good sign as any to toss the old plastic and get these slick glass ones. I am NOT disappointed. Love them and size is great for packing lunches. The lids have been good as well — no leaks and easy to snap close and open.

Overall good containers but don’t get these if you throw dishes in the sink.
I like glass containers because they are easy to clean, you can cook in them, and they don’t get scratched up by utensils. I bought these ones specifically because of the locking lids and amount of containers for the price.The lids lock great. I put the opposite corners of the gasket on first and I had no trouble assembling them.The only problem with these is that the edges are so thin that they can chip. They nest super tight and could easily be chipped while putting a container away if you aren’t careful.I threw all of these in the sink like animal which is how the chip happened. I now know I have to be careful with these but that’s not a dealbreaker for me considering my household circumstances. Just don’t get these if you or others in the home throw dishes in the sink.

Some covers don’t work.
This would have been five stars except for the fact that the two covers that were supposed to fit the small rectangular containers will not close. No matter how much force put upon them, they seem to not be the exact size needed. Otherwise I’m very happy with the other containers. I could have gotten a refund for a return but had already used the other items and just didn’t feel like going to the trouble. So these two containers will just have a plastic wrap or aluminum foil over them when I use them. It’s too bad. Just be on the lookout if you purchase.
