Loved that these came complete with batteries and screws for installation. Quality seems better than past ones I have purchased. We tested it for smoke and it worked great. Not sure about the radon because we don’t have radon issues. I highly recommend these, they were exactly what the seller said in their marketing info.

One of my daughter’s lives in a house that we own and 2 of her smoke detector’s went out at the same time.She has a disabled young girl (14) and living on the second floor. The Blackstone Fire Co comes to help my daughter take our grand daughter down the step’s and one of the Firemen told her she needed some new detector’s so I I bought these and the fire department put them up for her. The fireman told her that these are great smoke & carbon detector’s and with a great price. Thanks for the great help.

After reading some recent news stories I thought it was time to update the detectors in my home. I like that this one detects both smoke & carbon monoxide. One less thing to worry about. Installation was easy and it comes with 9V batteries. I put up the 3 detectors spread out around the home following the directions. The test button functions as expected. The LCD display showing ppm is a nice added feature when you’re curious about the levels. I think this is a good buy for peace of mind in my home.

What liked best was that we could, with a small adaptation, install the new CO detector on to the existing smoke detector base.
